Gardening comes in many styles

There are many forms that gardening can take. From a few plants grown inside or outside in containers all the way to a fully landscaped and planted acreage. Most gardens fall somewhere in between the two extremes.

If you are thinking about gardening for the first time, you should read our beginner's article, Choosing the perfect Garden for some pointers on the various types. You may also wish to review our Great Garden Checklist. Both of these articles appear in the General Gardening Tips section as they apply to all forms of gardening.

We have divided the article content on our site in ten categories in an effort to make it easier for you to find what you are seeking. The General Gardening catergory will contain articles with content that might be applied to one or of the gardening styles. The content within the specific gardening styles will tend to be specific to that type of gardening; of course with a subject as vast as gardening there is always the potential for some overlap. The categories are listed in the links to the right and will appear on all page of the site.

You are always safe clicking on our in article text links as there are no pop-ups or advertising links contained within the text of our articles. All of our in article text links are in bold and colored green. They will change to red when you hover over them just like the links in the navigation menu do. All of these links link to content on our site.
